Brushy Creek is an established residential area in southwest Round Rock, built out primarily in the 1980s and 1990s. It sits in the 78681 zip code and feeds into Round Rock High School - the same school zone as Behrens Ranch - but with generally older homes and lower entry prices.
The neighborhood is best known for two things: the Brushy Creek Regional Trail system (a 6.75-mile hike-and-bike corridor along Brushy Creek that connects to Cedar Park) and the stable, long-tenured community of residents.
